Z-20 modular plastic strapping head conversion

The Z30-MP2 compression strapping machine integrates the Z-30 strapping system into a modular design to facilitate easier maintenance and operation. With the Z-30 modular strapping head, a separate feed module is located off of the platen, enabling it to be removed and serviced quickly. When switching to a spare module, the Z30-MP2 can be up and running within a couple of minutes. A telescoping chute system allows strap feeding at any platen height, reducing the cycle time. Sequential top and side compression produces tight, stable packages with high retained tension to withstand vibration and rough handling during shipping.

Automatic load positioning

Automatic load positioning provides a wide range of flexibility, accommodating quarter-packs, half-packs and long loads.

Automatic refeed

The Z30-MP2 features automatic refeed, which attempts to refeed the strap when sensing an obstruction in the strap path.

External loading

Remote strap dispensers, top edge protection and batten feeders can all be loaded externally, minimizing downtime.
